The borrower / sponsor was an established not for profit marina and club located in a desirable location but physically located on a long-term government authority leasehold.

The sponsor sought $5.1m of construction funding for a substantial renovation and extension of the existing premises which was successfully sourced by Robinson Sewell Partners.  Upon completion, the sponsor sought a refinance with a sympathetic bank that understood hospitality within their industry and enterprise but noting a security profile that entertained leases and sub leases to various entities.

Robinson Sewell Partners presented the opportunity in a manner that satisfied the risk profile and the refinance took place with a well-recognised second tier lender on very favourable terms.
