Due to a series of adverse events, a significant rural client was under duress from their bank to repay the loans owing. The existing financial structure of the business would not allow a refinance to eventuate. RSP was engaged to find a financial solution.
RSP Solution:
With the intimate knowledge of bank policy, RSP worked with the client to restructure the framework of their business which would provide the required additional comfort and improve the credit profiling of the business. The restructure was successful in gaining a finance approval for $9.2 M as well as much improved economic terms. Most importantly it meant that the client did not have to sell the assets into a soft market.
